All rentals are in your name and may not, in any case, be transferred or sublet. The reservation is accepted for the persons named on the contract and these may not, in any case, be replaced by any other person. Minors are only accepted when accompanied during their stay (by one of their parents). Non-compliance with these clauses will result in the cancelation of this contract and the loss of the deposit paid at reservation. All renters must comply with the dispositions of the Menet Lake Holiday Village internal regulations, a copy of which is given to you on arrival. Non-compliance with these regulations or any disrespectful attitude towards anybody or the installations of the Holliday Village may result in the immediate cancelation of the reservation and an early departure without reimbursement. Between 11pm and 7:30am, the Holiday Village is closed to all motor tra¬c and silence must be enforced for the comfort of all. Parking places are provide alongside the Holiday Village.The Holiday Village compound is a pedestrian area. Parking is available next to Reception. Vehicle access is only permitted for the delivery and collection of baggage. (an exception is made for people with reduced mobility staying in the PMR (1)). However, at 11pm the previously stated rule applies to all residents of the Holiday Village. Animals: Dogs and cats are permitted (except dogs of the 1st and second categories), equipped with their current vaccination certicate (to be presented at reception on arrival) and tattoo card, and kept on a lead.Animals must never be left alone in the rental. An additional charge of €4 per day per animal is required. Rentals: your reservation (minimum of 7 nights during school holiday periods) must be accompanied by a deposit corresponding to 30% of the total cost of your stay. The balance must be paid one month before your arrival. Otherwise, the reservation will be cancelled, by right, and the deposit paid will be lost. For any reservation made less than 30 days before arrival, the total cost will be paid at reservation. The cost of the stay does not include holiday tax (€0.90 per day per person over 13 unless changed by the public authorities) to be paid to Menet Lake Holiday Village on arrival. Acceptable payment methods are:Cash, bank cheque, postal order, holiday vouchers, bank card and national or international wire transfer. Non-French cheques are not accepted. Arrivals are on Saturday between 4pm and 7pm. On the departure day, the rental must be vacated between 8am and 10am. You must make an appointment for inspection at reception no later than the evening before your departure. Tents are not permitted on rental lots. A security deposit by cheque or cash of €370 per rental will be required on arrival before you are given the keys (€300 for the lodging and €70 for cleaning). This deposit will be returned to you on the day of your departure after an inspection of the premises and after any deduction for repairs or the value of missing or damaged equipment. The rental must be left perfectly clean or a complete cleaning will be billed (€80). A detailed inventory is available in each rental. It is your responsibility to determine that it is correct and to inform us of any missing or damaged equipment at reception within 24 hours of your arrival. Menet Lake Holiday Village is not responsible in the case of theft, loss or damage of any kind (vehicle or other) during or resulting from a stay or a failure or unavailability of technical equipment. For your personal coverage (theft, damages) or damage caused by you in the rentals, it is indispensible to ask your insurer for a holiday extension to your household insurance. Children must be under their parents' supervision.Cancellation:All cancelations must be by recorded delivery letter. In the case of a cancelation more than 30 days before the arrival date, the deposit paid will not be refunded. If the cancelation occurs less than 30 days before arrival, the contract cancelation fee is equal to the cost of the stay. Cancelation insurance: The cancelation fees can be covered by the cancelation insurance ofered by the Menet Lake Holiday Village for 3,5% . Before departure, and for one of the following reasons: serious illness or death of a member of your immediate family, complication of pregnancy before the 7th month, lay-on, accident or theft of your vehicle occurring on your direct journey to your holiday location, cancelation or changing of the dates of this holiday by your employer. All amounts paid will be reimbursed except for the reservation fee and cancelation insurance. To be claimable, the cancelation must be notifed by registered letter with delivery receipt and accompanied by precise and unarguable justifation no later than 3 days after the event causing the cancelation.
