GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Reservations only become effective with the agreement of Camping de l'Eau Mère (SAS Accueil Auvergne), after receipt of the deposit and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online.
- In the event of non-payment of the deposit at the time of booking or of the balance no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday by the customer, Camping de l'Eau Mère reserves the right tocancel the reservation and offer the accommodation for rent again.
- Reservations for camping pitches or rental accommodation are made on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation.
- Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
Camping pitches
- The basic package includes a pitch for a tent, caravan or camper van for 1 or 2 people, access to electricity (except for 2 pitches), sanitary facilities and reception facilities.
One vehicle is permitted on the campsite premises. However, it is preferable to park your vehicle outside the campsite, for a more peaceful environment.
Other vehicles will be parked in the car park outside the campsite.
Rental
- The rental accommodation is fully equipped. The basic package is from 2 to over 16 places depending on the type of accommodation.
- Camping de l'Eau Mère reserves the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a number of participants greater than the capacity of the rented accommodation.
Booking fees
- Camping de l'Eau Mère charges a booking fee of €30/booking, for rentals and pitches.
MULTIPLE BOOKINGS
- Any booking of more than 2 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay at Camping de l'Eau Mère is considered to be a multiple booking.
- For all multiple booking requests, you must contact the Camping de l'Eau Mère by telephone, email or via our 'Contact Us' section.The Camping de l'Eau Mère contacted reserves the right to examine the booking request before accepting or refusing it.
RATES AND TOURIST TAX
- The prices shown are valid for all stays during the annual season. They correspond to one night or more and are in euros, including VAT.
- The amount of the tourist tax is set by the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays d'Issoire and varies from year to year.The final amount is determined for each calendar year.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
- For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the holiday, an account of 30% of the price of the services booked must be paid on receipt of the option. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your stay at Camping de l'Eau Mère.
- For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the holiday, full payment must be made at the time of booking at Camping de l'Eau Mère (30% deposit + balance of the holiday).
- In the event of non-payment of the deposit at the time of booking or of the balance no later than 30 days before the start of the holiday by the customer, Camping de l'Eau Mère reserves the right to cancel the booking and relet the accommodation.
NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, Camping de l'Eau Mère informs its customers that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date, or at a specific frequency, is not subject to the provisions relating to the
14-day cooling-off period.
CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS
1. Changing your booking
Customers may request changes to their stay at the same campsite (dates, type of accommodation, options) by writing to the campsite (by post or e-mail), subject to availability. No postponements will be accepted for the following season. If no change is made, the customer will be obliged to stay as originally booked or to cancel under the terms of the cancellation insurance.
- Any request to increase the length of your stay will be subject to availability and the current rates.
- Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption of stay conditions.
2. Unused services
If your stay is interrupted or shortened for one of the following reasons:
- Administrative closure of the campsite
- Closure of borders by administrative decision
- Restriction of travel to a number of kilometres by administrative decision that makes it impossible to come to the campsite.
The campsite will issue a voucher for the amount of the unused nights, valid for two years. If the customer refuses this voucher, it will be reimbursed on request.
Apart from the reasons mentioned above, any stay that is interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) due to the customer's fault will not give rise to a refund or voucher.
3. Cancellation by Camping de l'Eau Mère
In the event of cancellation by Camping de l'Eau Mère, except in cases of force majeure, the sums paid for the reservation will be reimbursed in full. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
4. Cancellation by the camper
In the event of cancellation by the camper, except in cases of force majeure, the conditions for cancellation and reimbursement are as follows. All requests for cancellation must be sent by post to the Camping de l'Eau Mère postal address or by e-mail.
Cancellations made by telephone cannot be taken into account.
Any cancellation will result in the cancellation of the booking and the campsite reserves the right to offer the accommodation for rent again.
In the event of cancellation by the camper for one of the following reasons up to the date of arrival:
-Closure of borders by administrative decision
-Administrative closure of the campsite
-Restriction of travel to a number of kilometres by administrative decision that makes it impossible to come to the campsite.
The campsite will issue a voucher for the full amount paid, valid for two years. If the customer refuses to accept this voucher, the corresponding amount will be reimbursed on request.
- Cancellation up to 30 (thirty) days before the start of the holiday: The 30% deposit will be retained by the campsite as a cancellation fee. The sums paid, deducted from the amount of the deposit, will be reimbursed. If part or all of the payment has been made with a voucher worth more than the deposit: the 30% deposit will be retained by the campsite as a cancellation fee. A new non-refundable voucher valid for 2 years, to be used at the campsite where the holiday was cancelled, will be issued for the amount of the original voucher less the 30% deposit. The remainder of the sums paid, other than the voucher, will be reimbursed.
- Cancellation less than 30 (thirty) days before arrival:
All sums paid will be retained by the campsite.
If the holiday is cancelled, the amount paid in holiday vouchers cannot be reimbursed in accordance with article L.112-14 I. of the French Monetary and Financial Code. In this case, a non-refundable voucher, valid for 2 years, to be used at the campsite where the holiday was cancelled, will be issued for the amount paid in holiday vouchers, less any deposit.
YOUR STAY
1. Arrival
- Arrival times vary according to the season. In the high season, accommodation arrives and departs on Saturdays.
- Rental accommodation: on the day of your arrival, you will be welcomed from 4 p.m., and when you are given the keys to your accommodation, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 300€ (except for cabadiennes and baroudeurs).
2. During your stay
It is the camper's responsibility to take out insurance: campers are responsible for looking after their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident for which the camper is liable.
All guests must comply with the campsite rules and regulations.
Each tenant is responsible for any disturbance or nuisance caused by persons staying with them or visiting them.
3. Departure
- Rental accommodation: on the day of departure indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10am. The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy condition, and the inventory may be checked.
The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, after deduction of any compensation deducted, on the basis of supporting invoices, for any damage found in the inventory of fixtures at the end of your stay. The retention of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation if the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.
- If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, you will be asked to pay a cleaning fee of at least €80 (inc. VAT) (€30 for backpackers and cabadiennes and €50 for caravans and caïdale tents).
- For any late departure, you may be charged for an extra day at the current nightly rate.
PETS
Pets are accepted (except 1st and 2nd category dogs) for a fee payable at the time of booking. When allowed, they must be kept on a lead at all times.Dogs are not allowed near swimming pools, in food shops or in buildings. Vaccination certificates for dogs and cats must be up to date.Dogs and cats are not allowed on bedding or sofas.
A cleaning charge may apply.
IMAGE
You authorise the Campsite to photograph, record or film you during your stay
during your stay to use said images, sounds, videos and recordings

DISPUTES
Any complaint concerning the non-conformity of the services in relation to the contractual
can be reported by post or e-mail to the Campsite.
MEDIATION
In the event of a dispute, you may contact us as follows:
- Send a letter by recorded delivery with acknowledgement of receipt to the manager of the Camping SAS Accueil Auvergne.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you can refer the matter to the CM2C Mediation Centre, after a period of one month following the sending of these letters/emails. You must file a complaint online at www.cm2c.net or by post: CM2C - 14 rue Saint Jean 75017 PARIS.
LIABILITY OF CAMPING DE L'EAU MERE
Camping de l'Eau Mère makes every effort to ensure that the information published on the website about its host sites is as up-to-date as possible, in particular the presentation photos, descriptions, activities, leisure activities, services and operating dates. However, this information cannot guarantee that it is accurate, up-to-date and exhaustive at all times.
