Article 1 - Scope of Application of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These general terms and conditions govern all bookings for stays made on the website https://campingbourgcharente.wixsite.com/lecamping. They are an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers. Each customer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to making any reservation for themselves and any person participating in the stay. In accordance with the applicable law, these general terms and conditions are made available to the customer for informational purposes prior to the conclusion of any stay booking contract (the T&Cs are available for download on the website and can be provided upon prior request). They can also be obtained by written request to the establishment's headquarters:

Article 2 - Reservation Conditions
2.1 Payment: The premises subject to the rental contract are rented furnished on a seasonal basis. Minors are only allowed on the premises when accompanied by their legal guardian. Incomplete contracts may be refused, as well as persons not reported before arrival. The maximum number of people specified in the description of each accommodation may not be exceeded. The rental is strictly personal. The tenant may not sublet or assign their rights to this agreement without the written consent of the management of Camping de Bourg-Charente. The rental becomes effective only when it has been confirmed in writing by the campsite management and upon receipt of the full amount of the deposit, balance, and security deposit.
2.2 Price: The price of the stays is indicated in euros. Customers should note that the tourist tax (0.22€/adult/day) is not included in the price.
2.3 Reservation: Reservations can be made by phone or email but require written confirmation. A reservation is only valid after the signed contract and deposit have been received within 5 days of sending the rental contract. The balance of the booking must be paid 30 days before the arrival date. After this period, the reservation will be automatically canceled.
2.4 Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal: Any cancellation must be made in writing. The legal provisions regarding the right of withdrawal for distance sales under the Consumer Code do not apply to tourist services (Article L.121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Therefore, for any booking of a stay at the campsite, the customer has no right of withdrawal. As a result, the amounts paid will remain with the campsite management.
Article 3 - Stay Procedures
3.1 Arrivals and Departures:
For standard pitches: Free arrival (call in advance if possible or reserve).
Phone: 0615166782 / 0603068507
Email: campingbourgcharente@gmail.com
For rentals: The client agrees, under this contract, to take possession of the accommodation on the arrival day from 4 p.m. and to vacate it on the departure day before 10 a.m. Any late arrival must be reported by 8 p.m. to ensure necessary measures are taken for your arrival.
3.2 Delay: Any delayed arrival or early departure, as well as days when the tenant is absent, will be at the client's expense. In the case of a delayed arrival not reported to the campsite management, the rental will be maintained for 24 hours after the arrival date specified on the booking contract. After this period, and in the absence of a written message, the booking will be void, and the accommodation may be allocated to another customer.
3.3 Security Deposit: The reservation legally binds the tenant and authorizes the campsite to withdraw funds from the client's account in case of non-fulfillment. Upon arrival, the tenant agrees to provide a €500 security deposit per accommodation, which covers damages and/or deterioration of the property and furniture, as well as lost keys or items. Furthermore, if the accommodation is not returned clean as per the instructions provided at arrival, €80 will be deducted from the security deposit to cover cleaning costs. The deposit will be taken by credit card imprint. The deposit will be refunded in full or in part after the tenant's departure, only if damages and/or deterioration caused by the tenant or third parties during the stay are identified, pending insurance procedures.
3.4 Inventory and Condition Report: A condition report and inventory of furniture will be provided to the tenant upon entry. If the tenant notices any discrepancies, they must report them within 24 hours of receiving the keys. If the condition report is not signed and returned to the reception within 24 hours after arrival, the absence of objection by the tenant will be considered as confirmation that the property was returned in good condition and with a complete inventory.
3.5 Pets: Pets are not allowed inside the rental accommodations. The presence of a pet in a rental unit will cancel the stay, and the security deposit will be withheld. Pets are only allowed on the campsite (on a leash and properly vaccinated). However, we reserve the right to refuse any animal whose size or breed is deemed inappropriate.
3.6 Vehicle: Only one vehicle is allowed per pitch. A free parking area is located near the campsite.
3.7 Internal Rules: As required by law, you must comply with our internal rules, which are posted at the reception, and a copy will be provided upon request.
Behavior and Use of Facilities: Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness and hygiene of the campsite, particularly the sanitary facilities. Wastewater must be emptied into the designated facilities. Household waste and all types of garbage must be placed in the designated containers. Glass must be placed in the glass recycling container. Washing is prohibited outside the designated washbasins. Any damage to vegetation, fences, the grounds, or campsite facilities will be charged to the responsible party. The pitch or rental unit used during the stay must be kept in the condition it was found upon arrival.
Safety: In case of fire, immediately inform the management. Fire extinguishers are checked annually and are therefore usable in case of necessity. A first aid kit is available at the reception desk.
Theft: The management declines any responsibility for theft. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner.
