Terms and Conditions Le Clos de Balleroy 2026
Please read carefully the general & special conditions below. Any reservation request implies full acceptance of
these conditions.
OUR SERVICES
Pitch
Daily rate includes caravan, tent or camper pitch, 1 vehicle, 2 adults. Access to reception, entertainment and sanitary
facilities. Additional costs (number of people: maximum 6 per pitch (adults, children), additional vehicle, pets, etc.),
tourist tax and eco tax are not included in the package and will be added to it.
Arrival time from 2pm
Departure time before 12pm
Rental accommodation
Our prices include people (depending on accommodation capacity, no extra people or children will be accepted),
water, gas, electricity, one vehicle, access to reception facilities, entertainment and sanitary facilities.
Your accommodation must be left in the same condition as when you leave (cleaned, dusted, dishes done, refrigerator
and cooking utensils cleaned, sanitary facilities etc....).
All our mobile homes are non smoking .
Visitors : After having been authorized by the manager or his representative, day campers may be admitted to the
campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. If these persons are admitted to the Le Clos de
Balleroy campsite, the camper receiving them is required to pay a fee. This fee entitles the person to use the services
and/or facilities of the campsite.
In the event that technical personnel are required to carry out repairs or maintenance on a rental property, the hirer
must accept any inconvenience caused, without being able to claim any compensation or indemnity. Visitors are required
to leave the campsite by 9:30 p.m.
Works / Repairs:
In the event that technical staff need to intervene in a rental property (for repair or maintenance), the tenant agrees to
accept any inconvenience that may result, without being entitled to any compensation or indemnity.
Check in / Check out
Arrival time from 3 p.m.
Departure time before 10 a.m.
Arrival after reception closing time will incur an additional charge of €15.
For late departures, an additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate .
RESERVATION
The reservation will be considered effective:
1. After confirmation of reservation by the campsite
2. After receipt of the deposit and the completed booking
contract.
• Reservations are only binding on the campsite if they have been accepted by Le Clos de Balleroy , which the campsite
is free to do or refuse, depending on availability, and in general on any circumstances likely to affect the execution
of the reservation made. Our campsite offers family oriented holidays and reserves the right to refuse any booking that is contrary to this principle, or which seeks to divert it. it..
• The reservation of a campsite pitch or rental is made on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you
sublet or assign your reservation without the prior consent of the campsite
• Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. except under certain conditions (parental
certificates).
• The management reserves the right to change the pitch number allocated. Preferences are not guaranteed unless
confirmed in writing by the campsite.
STAY PAYMENTS
Payments accepted
For both the deposit and the balance, you can honor your reservation or stay by the following methods of payment:
Bank cheque (only for deposits), vacation voucher up to 50% of the total rental amount, bank transfer, cash, credit card.
Terms of payment: Bare pitches and rentals
All firm booking requests from the purchaser must be made in writing and accompanied by the signed contract and a
deposit of 40% of the cost of the stay and the cancellation/interruption insurance premium (if taken out).
This booking is not binding until the purchaser has received confirmation of registration from the campsite.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
The campsite offers cancellation and interruption insurance through its partner Meetch , at a cost of 5% of the total cost of the stay + options.
MODIFICATION
Customers may request a change to their stay by writing to the campsite (by post or e mail), subject to availability. No
postponements will be accepted for the following season. If no change is made, the customer will be obliged to continue with the stay as originally booked (duration and type of accommodation), or to cancel it in accordance with the terms
of the cancellation insurance policy.
Any request to increase the length of your stay will be subject to availability and current rates.Any request to reduce the
length of your stay will be considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption terms and conditions.
Unused benefits
Any stay that is interrupted or shortened (late arrival, early departure) due to your fault will not give rise to any
reimbursement, even partial. free services cannot give rise to any reimbursement or reduction in the event of temporary or definitive unavailability.
Cancellation by camping Le Clos de Balleroy
In the event of cancellation by Le Clos de Balleroy , except in cases of force majeure and administrative closure, the stay
will be fully reimbursed. However, this cancellation cannot give rise to the payment of damages.
Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (LRAR) to the campsite Le Clos de Balleroy . If the
cancellation occurs :
• More than 30 days before the start of your stay: the deposit will be retained by Le Clos de Balleroy
• Less than 30 days before the start of your stay : 100% of the amount paid will be retained by Le Clos de Balleroy
INTERNAL RULES
GENERAL CONDITIONS
Admission and residence conditions
To be admitted to enter, settle or stay on a campsite, you must have been authorized by the manager or his representative. It is the manager's duty to ensure that the campsite is kept in good order and that the present rules and regulations are applied.
Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of these regulations and a commitment to comply with them.
Under no circumstances may the campsite be considered as a primary, secondary or commercial residence. Door-to-door sales, peddling or any other commercial activity is prohibited.
Serious misconduct or failure to comply with these rules may result in expulsion.
In the event of a criminal offence, the manager or his representative may call in the police.
All political, religious or other demonstrations are forbidden on the campsite premises or in its annexes.
The tenant is responsible for the damaging consequences of these acts, for those of people who use the pitch or facilities alongside him, as well as for the people he welcomes. Children must never be left alone. The tenant must provide the reception desk with a copy of the maintenance contract for the water heater installed on the site, as well as a copy of his or her insurance policy proving coverage for all harmful consequences and civil liability. (We recommend extending your policy to cover theft, burglary, storm, lightning, etc.).
Police formalities
Minors unaccompanied by their parents will only be admitted with their parents' written authorization.
In application of article R. 611-35 of the French Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreigners and the Right of asylum, the manager is required to have foreign guests complete and sign an individual police form on arrival.
Fees
Fees are payable at reception. Fees are posted at the entrance to the campsite and at reception. They are due according to the number of nights spent on the site. Campground users are asked to inform reception of their departure the day before. Campers intending to leave before reception opens must pay their fees the day before.
Installation
The outdoor accommodation and related equipment must be installed on the site indicated in accordance with the instructions given by the manager or his representative.
The number of people in a mobile home, tent, camper van or caravan must not exceed the number specified by the manufacturer.
Occupancy of the plot is subject to the pitch rental contract, i.e. 6 people and 1 vehicle in the package, and in any case limited to a maximum of 6 people.
All the tenant's equipment, including the car, must be on the pitch.
Display
The present rules and regulations are displayed at the entrance of the campsite and at the reception desk. A copy is provided to any guest upon request. For classified campsites, the classification category, including the designation tourism or leisure and the number of tourism or leisure pitches, is displayed. The prices of the various services are communicated to guests under the conditions set by order of the minister responsible for consumer affairs and are available for consultation at the reception.
Departure procedure
Guests are requested to inform the reception desk of their departure by the day before. Guests planning to leave before the reception opens must settle the payment for their stay the day before.
Noises and silence
Guests are kindly asked to avoid any noise or conversation that could disturb their neighbors. No disturbance of any kind (such as inconsiderate use of radios, TVs, etc.) should be caused to other holidaymakers. Sound devices must be adjusted accordingly. Car doors and trunks should be closed as quietly as possible. Silence must be observed from 10:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Pets
Pets are allowed subject to prior approval by management and are subject to a daily fee. Attack dogs are strictly forbidden within the campsite. Dogs are not allowed in common areas and must remain only on the reserved pitch. Their droppings must be picked up. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and must not be left alone on the campsite, even if confined, in the absence of their owners, who are legally responsible for them. Owners are responsible for keeping their pets clean, and a health record is mandatory.
Visitors
Once authorized by the manager or their representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers who receive them, with an additional fee indicated at the campsite reception. Visitors are required to leave the campsite by 9:30 p.m. Visitor vehicles are not allowed inside the campsite.
Circulation and parking of the vehicles
Within the campsite, vehicles must not exceed a speed limit of 10 km/h. Only vehicles belonging to campers staying on the site are allowed to circulate within the campsite. Parking is strictly prohibited on pitches usually occupied by accommodations, unless a designated parking space has been provided. Parking must not obstruct traffic or prevent the installation of new arrivals. Washing cars or any other equipment is strictly forbidden on parking areas, access roads, or pitches belonging to the campsite.
Cleanliness and conditions of the facilities
Everyone must refrain from any action that could harm the cleanliness, hygiene, or appearance of the campsite and its facilities, especially the sanitary facilities. It is forbidden to dump wastewater on the ground or into the gutters. Guests must empty wastewater only in the designated facilities. Household waste, all types of garbage, and papers must be disposed of in bins, following waste-sorting rules. It is strictly forbidden to cross or occupy other pitches, whether occupied or not, without prior permission from the pitch's tenant. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children and any accidents they may cause. Plants and floral decorations must be respected. It is forbidden to drive nails into trees, cut branches, or plant anything. It is not permitted to demarcate a pitch using personal means or to dig into the ground. Any damage to vegetation, fences, land, or campsite facilities must be repaired at the expense of the person responsible. The pitch used during the stay must be left in the same condition as it was found upon arriva
Security :
Fire
Open fires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly prohibited. Stoves must be kept in good working condition and must not be used in hazardous conditions. In case of fire, immediately notify the management. Fire extinguishers may be used if necessary. A first aid kit is available at the reception desk.
Steal
The management is responsible for items deposited at the reception desk and has a general duty to monitor the campsite. Campers remain responsible for their own setup and must report any suspicious individuals to the manager. Guests are encouraged to take the usual precautions to safeguard their belongings. The campsite cannot be held liable for fire, damage to property or vehicles, or theft occurring within the campsite or in the parking area.
Pool games
No violent or disturbing games may be organized near the facilities. The snack may not be used for rowdy games. Children must always be supervised by their parents. Children under 14 years old, as well as children of any age who cannot swim, are not allowed in the pool area unless accompanied by an adult. All children remain under the full responsibility of their parents.
Infractions to the internal rules
If a resident disturbs the stay of other users or fails to comply with the provisions of these rules and regulations, the manager or their representative may, verbally or in writing, if deemed necessary, give the resident a formal notice for dissturbing the other holiday-maker . In the case of serious or repeated violations of the rules, and after a formal notice from the manager to comply, the contract may be terminated. In the event of a criminal offense, the manager may call upon law enforcement authorities.
