Terms and Conditions

 

YOUR RESERVATION

Formalities: Mobile home or pitch rentals are non-transferable and cannot be sublet.

The person making the reservation must be of legal age and legally capable of entering into a rental agreement in accordance with these terms and conditions and must guarantee the accuracy and truthfulness of the information provided.

The reservation is only effective once the contract has been completed, signed, preceded by the words “read and approved,” accompanied by the payment of the deposit and administrative fees, and ONLY after receipt of our written confirmation.

The general terms and conditions of sale must also be signed and preceded by the words “read and approved.”

 

Promotions: Promotions are applicable to the reservation. They cannot give rise to any claims or refunds after the fact.

 

Participants in the stay: The number of occupants must strictly comply with the accommodation and pitch capacities (mentioned in the description of the accommodation or pitch and in the contract).

Deposit and booking fees: The deposit is 30% of the total cost of the stay.

Booking fees:

- For rentals: €15 for “ready-to-camp” tents and bungalows / €25 for stays in lodges and mobile homes.

- Pitches: €15

Payment for pitches: The balance must be paid on the day of arrival after recalculation of the actual stay. In the case of taking out insurance , the balance must be paid 30 days before the arrival date.

Rental payments: The balance for your stay must be received by the campsite no later than 30 days before the arrival date (vacation vouchers must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt). After this deadline, if full payment has not been received, we will consider your rental to be canceled.

 

Last-minute rental reservations: Any reservation made less than 30 days before the arrival date must be paid in full. The reservation will only be effective upon receipt of payment and provided that the stay is still available.

 

Unused services: Any unused services (barbecue, baby kit, etc.) that have been reserved and paid for cannot be refunded.

ARRIVAL

- For rentals, arrivals are from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A deposit of €390 for the rental, cleaning, and badge will be required (credit card imprint or cash).

An inventory sheet is provided in the accommodation. Any discrepancies must be reported on the same day or the following day. No late complaints will be accepted and the customer will be held responsible for any damage or missing items.

- For pitches, arrivals are from 2:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Pitches are allocated according to arrivals and equipment. No specific pitches are reserved.

A deposit of €30 for the badge will be required (credit card imprint or cash).

 

In case of delay, the tenant must notify the campsite.

In case of no-show without any information from you, the pitch and/or rental will be allocated to another customer from 2 p.m. the following day.

 

DURING YOUR STAY

Liability insurance: Liability insurance is mandatory. It is the customer's responsibility to insure themselves for any damage they may cause to the campsite or rental accommodation, as well as for their belongings, suitcases, valuables, and vehicles.

The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather, or any other incident falling under the customer's civil liability.

Compliance with the rules: The contract implies compliance with the campsite's internal rules displayed at reception and with the provisions and regulations in force, under penalty of expulsion without refund.

We cannot be held liable for unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure, climatic disasters, or nuisances that may disrupt, interrupt, or prevent your stay.

In the event of a problem in a mobile home, you must make a complaint on site to the manager.

 

Supplements: Whether on a pitch or in rental accommodation, additional charges may be applied (visitors, pets, extra people or vehicles, etc.) where these are permitted (see our prices).

Minors: Minors unaccompanied by their parents or guardians will not be accepted on the campsite.

Animals: The campsite's agreement is required for all animals to stay. The management reserves the right to refuse a stay if it has not been notified in advance and has not given its agreement. Health records and tattoos are mandatory and must be presented at the campsite reception upon arrival. Dogs of the 1st and 2nd categories are prohibited on the campsite.

 

Barbecues: For safety reasons, only gas barbecues are permitted.

DEPARTURE

- Departures from rental properties must be before 10 a.m.

The deposit will be released within 48 hours after the end of the stay, following a departure inventory and inspection of the premises.

The rental property must be returned in a perfectly clean condition. The inventory will be checked and you will be responsible for any broken or damaged items, as well as for any repairs. The deposit does not exclude you from being charged for any damage or breakages. The rental must be returned in a perfectly clean condition. - Departures from pitches must be before 12 noon. The pitch must be left clean.

To extend your stay beyond the agreed departure date, you must obtain permission from reception the day before departure.

The deposit will be released when the badge is returned.

 

CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF STAY

Cancellation: Cancellations must be made 30 days before your arrival in WRITING (registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt and postmark as proof).

Telephone messages and emails will not be accepted.

More than 30 days before the start of the stay, the deposit will be refunded. The camping site will retain the administrative fees.

After this period, no refund will be made unless cancellation insurance has been taken out (see “Cancellation insurance” section).

In the event of cancellation by the campsite (except in cases of force majeure), the deposit will be refunded in full (except for administrative fees) with no limit on the amount.

Late arrival or early departure: No refund or reduction will be granted in the event of early departure or late arrival for any reason, even if we have been notified.

Changes to your stay: Changes to your reservation can be made free of charge, subject to availability and no later than 30 days before your arrival date. These changes must be notified by email to Camping Le Colombier.

 

Cancellation insurance: Taking out cancellation and interruption insurance (Campez Couvert) allows you to obtain a refund of the cost of your stay in the event of cancellation under certain conditions.

This guarantee is optional and payable in addition to the rental fee at the same time as the deposit. The amount is equivalent to 3.5% of the total cost of the stay. By taking out this guarantee, you are assured of a refund of part or all of your stay, excluding administrative fees and cancellation insurance (conditions available on request). For the guarantee to be effective, the balance of the stay must be paid 30 days before the scheduled arrival date at the campsite. In the event of a reservation less than 30 days before the arrival date, the entire stay must be paid in full with the cancellation insurance for the latter to be effective. All claims must be sent to our service provider (contact details available on request).

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS

Complaints: Any complaints must be made within 30 days of your stay, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

Disputes: In the event of a dispute between the professional and the consumer, they will endeavor to find an amicable solution.

If no amicable agreement can be reached, the consumer has the option of referring the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator responsible for the professional, namely the Association des Médiateurs Européens (AME CONSO), within one year of the written complaint being sent to the professional.

The matter must be referred to the consumer mediator:

- either by completing the form provided for this purpose on the AME CONSO website: www.mediationconso-ame.com;

- or by post to AME CONSO, 197 Boulevard Saint-Germain - 75007 PARIS.

 

 

VAT: Changes to the VAT rate in force will result in changes to the price of the stay, including tax.

Tourist tax: Changes to the tourist tax in force by the Community of Communes will result in changes to the price of the stay.

Photos and image rights: The photos in the brochures are not contractual.

You expressly authorize the campsite, without compensation, to use photos of you or your children taken during your stay in any medium for the campsite's advertising purposes.
